Apparent Fight Leads to Afternoon Shooting in Lancaster

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: An apparent fight led to a shooting which left one person wounded and at least two transported to a hospital Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 3:28 p.m., Nov. 6, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding a fight on the 44400 block of Watford Avenue in the city of Lancaster.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered numerous people down with one confirmed gunshot wound victim.

At least two people were transported to a local hospital by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The area was locked down by deputies during the investigation.

As of this report, the suspect(s) were still at large and the circumstance surrounding the shooting was still unknown.
