LAPD Motorcycle Officer Struck in Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision

North Hills, Los Angeles, CA: A Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle officer was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in the North Hills neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley Saturday night, Nov. 19, around 10:00 p.m.

LAPD officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to the scene of the collision to assess the officer. The motorcycle was found laying on the street.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction and the officer was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital by LAFD.

West Roscoe from Haskell to Woodley was blocked off to traffic due to the collision for an unknown length of time.
