Firefighters, Employees Work to Extinguish Flames at Recycling Center

Sun Valley, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to reports of an unknown type fire at a recycling center trash dump on Friday, Dec. 9, in the 9000 block of North Norris Avenue in the Sun Valley neighborhood within the San Fernando Valley.

Firefighters alongside employees operating heavy equipment, moved trash around to help extinguish the flames.

The fire was knocked down within 20 minutes.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported.
