Los Angeles, CA: Two occupants in a vehicle were involved in a traffic collision with a pursuit suspect Thursday night, Mar. 3, in the Boyle Heights neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a reported armed robbery at the T-Mobile store located on the 3100 block of Beverly Boulevard in the Westlake neighborhood around 8:03 p.m. that prompted a short pursuit of the alleged suspect.
The pursuit terminated in a collision involving the suspect and occupants in another vehicle just south of East 7th Street and South Soto Street in Boyle Heights. The suspect then fled on foot and attempted to hide underneath a nearby UPS truck. Officers took the suspect into custody at the location.
The female victim in the collision treated by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics at the scene was transported to a local area hospital. The male victim was also treated at the scene. It was not immediately known which victim was driving at the time of the collision.
