Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: Multiple victims were wounded in a shooting overnight which left one dead at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Cherokee Avenue in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department officers along with the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the intersection around 1:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, for a reported shooting where three victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by LAFD. Two others were transported in unknown conditions to local hospitals.

LAPD closed Hollywood Boulevard as the investigation into the shooting was conducted.
