Saugus Shooting Victim Airlifted to Hospital

Saugus, Santa Clarita, CA: One man was shot at least twice at Bee Canyon Ranch on the 35700 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road in north Saugus Saturday afternoon.

A 911 caller reported the shooting shortly before 1:53 p.m., Jan. 21, and said someone had been shot several times.

Santa Clarita Valley deputies, firefighters and EMTs responded to the scene with Los Angeles County Fire Department Copter 22.

Deputies formed a tactical plan before advancing to the ranch.

The units worked to locate the shooting victim and canvass the area for the suspect.

The victim was located and handed off to paramedics before he was flown out from neighboring LACoFD Camp 14 in unknown condition.

The suspect remains outstanding and the incident is still under investigation.
