Homeowner Shoots at Suspects Attempting Home Invasion Robbery

Claremont, Los Angeles County, CA: Sometime after 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, Claremont Police Department received a 911 call of a possible home invasion and shots fired in the area of the 700 block of Northwest Drive and Harrison Avenue in the city of Claremont.

A homeowner residing on Northwestern Drive called Claremont PD advising them that two males attempted to break into his house while he was home and shot multiple rounds at the suspects.

Both suspects fled in an unknown direction. It is also unknown if the suspects were struck by gunfire.

Claremont PD has not released any information on the incident at this time.
