Bakersfield Officers in Standoff Near South High School

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: The Bakersfield Police Department requested the bearcat on Shenandoah Drive near South High School around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, for a man with a warrant at a residence.

After approximately six hours, officers learned the residence was unoccupied and the suspect was not inside.

The perimeter was dismantled and all units were cleared from the scene.
