Investigation Underway into Shooting of 2 Victims Found in Parking Lot

Upland, San Bernardino County, CA: Authorities are investigating the shooting of two victims found inside a vehicle in a Home Depot parking lot in the city of Upland early Sunday morning, Feb. 12.

Upland Police Department along with the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the Home Depot on the 200 block of South Mountain Avenue for two gunshot victims inside a pickup truck in the parking lot.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

Per one witness who declined to speak on camera, the victims were shot somewhere near the Mt. Baldy area, however, authorities have yet to officially confirm the original location of the shooting pending investigation.

California Highway Patrol from Rancho Cucamonga and Baldwin Park Stations were both on scene with Upland PD.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department San Dimas Station confirmed to Key News Network around 3:30 a.m. that Upland PD would be handling the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
