Driver Killed in High-Speed Crash into Rear End of Semi Trailer

Fontana, San Bernardino County, CA: A driver was killed after slamming into a semi trailer Thursday night, Feb. 16, just before 9:30 p.m.

California Highway Patrol Rancho Cucamonga Station officers and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision involving one vehicle and a semi at Cherry Avenue and San Bernardino Avenue in the city of Fontana .

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a red vehicle that had rear-ended a semi trailer trapping the deceased driver inside the vehicle.

It is unknown at this time, if any victims were transported including the driver of the semi.
