Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A home was completely destroyed by fire early Saturday morning in the city of Lancaster leaving four occupants displaced.
911 operators received a call approximately 12:31 a.m. Feb. 18, from a Lancaster resident stating their garage was on fire in the 44200 block of Calston Avenue.
Los Angeles County firefighters arriving to the scene discovered a single-story dwelling fully engulfed in flames.
According to the occupants at the scene, there was no one else or pets inside the home.
Multiple engines responded to fight the blaze. Part of the structure collapsed in front of firefighters battling to extinguish the flames seen in Key News Network video from the scene. Knockdown was achieved at 12:58 a.m.
Primary and secondary searches of the burned home by firefighters confirmed no one else was inside.
Four occupants of the home were displaced. The cause of fire is under investigation.
It was not immediately known if there were any reported injuries.
