3 Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash into Light Pole

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: Three people including one trapped, were injured when their vehicle slammed into a pole early Friday morning, Feb.24, in Downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision at approximately 1:02 a.m. at the intersection of Vignes and Cesar E Chaves Avenue where arriving firefighters found three victims inside a sedan that collided with a light pole.

One of the victims was trapped and considered to be in serious condition. A second victim was also inside the vehicle in serious condition, and a third victim was in stable condition.

All three victims were transported to a local area hospital by LAFD.

The Los Angeles Police Department is handling the investigation regarding the crash.
