Shooting at Mills Market in Montclair Prompts Homicide Investigation

Montclair, San Bernardino County, CA: At least one person was fatally shot at Mills Market on the 10200 block of Mills Avenue in the city of Montclair Thursday night.

Montclair Police officers and the Montclair Fire Department received multiple 911 calls around 9:00 p.m., Apr. 6, regarding shots fired with one person and possibly a second victim shot at the location.

It is unknown at this time if the fatally shot victim was an employee or a customer at the store.

Information gathered at the scene by Key News Network indicates one victim was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased. A possible second victim is unconfirmed at the time of this report.

Multiple bullet casing were observed marked by police on the ground outside the market.

Montclair police detectives were on scene investigating the fatal shooting.

MPD did not immediately release any additional information.
