Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: A multi-vehicle traffic collision on the 10 Freeway early Sunday morning left one person in critical condition and one placed into custody for suspected DUI.

California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles County Fire Department received multiple 911 calls just before 2:30 a.m., Apr. 16, regarding a multi-vehicle traffic collision on the eastbound 10 Freeway just before the 57 Freeway in the area of the city of Pomona.
Once CHP officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a total of three to four vehicles, including one vehicle with major T-bone collision damage.
One person was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital in critical condition and a female in a white car was arrested for suspected DUI. It was not immediately known if the other victims suffered any injuries or were also transported to a hospital.
CHP issued a SigAlert for approximately one hour. All eastbound 10 Freeway traffic was diverted off at Kellogg Drive.
