Driver Injured in Collision With Parked Truck

Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, CA: A driver was injured Sunday night after slamming into a parked truck and overturning.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded to a traffic collision involving an overturned truck reported around 10:36 p.m., Apr. 23. The truck had been traveling southbound on Railroad toward Drayton in the city of Santa Clarita before it crashed.

Owners of a liquor store nearby were inside their business at the time of the collision and ran outside to check. They discovered their parked truck had been struck by another truck and the driver was trapped and bleeding.

The driver was reportedly freed by another witness.

The solo occupant of the overturned truck was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station is investigating the incident.
