Motorcyclist Killed in Lancaster Traffic Collision

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic collision involving a vehicle in a Lancaster intersection Thursday evening.

At approximately 5:17 p.m., May 11, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office received numerous 911 calls regarding a traffic collision at the intersection of Avenue K and 6th Street East.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a motorcycle had collided with a vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics from Station 135 responded to the scene to treat the motorcyclist and vehicle passengers, however, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Another male was injured in the crash, but declined ambulance transport to a hospital.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation.
