Long Beach, Los Angeles County, CA: At least three people were hospitalized after an Infiniti sedan rolled off the 710 Freeway around 11:37 p.m. Sunday night, May 14.
Three young adults were able to free themselves from an overturned sedan after they lost control while on the I-710 southbound just south of Del Amo Boulevard.
The vehicle rolled over and landed off the freeway in brush and shrubs near Carson Street and Via Alcalde Avenue.
At least three paramedic rescues were utilized by Long Beach Fire Department personnel to transport the three patients to area hospitals.
Multiple vehicles congregated within the area that appeared to belong to a car club, however, it is unknown if street racing played a factor in the collision.
California Highway Patrol South Los Angeles Station is continuing their investigation into the cause of the crash.
