CHP Officers Arrest Possible Suspect Involved in 10 Freeway Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision

Monterey Park, Los Angeles County, CA: A possible suspect was taken into custody early Monday morning in relation to a fatal hit-and-run freeway collision involving a pedestrian Sunday night.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the area of the 500 block of North Huntington Avenue in the city of Monterey Park around 2:20 a.m., May 15, for a possible suspect related to the fatal hit-and-run collision Sunday night on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Eastern Avenue in the City Terrace area of East Los Angeles.

CHP located a BMW parked on the street with a shattered front windshield on the passenger side. CHP officers did arrest a female and placed her in the back seat of a CHP Unit.

CHP was not releasing too many details regarding the incident at this time.

East L.A. CHP is investigating, but are saying this might be a possible suspect related to the hit-and-run fatal on the eastbound 10 freeway.
