Transit Bus Nearly Impacts Home in Collision With Sedan

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A transit bus and sedan collided Thursday afternoon leaving the bus just shy of crashing into a home.

The traffic collision occurred just before 2 p.m., May 25, at the intersection of Avenue K and 25th Street West in the city of Lancaster.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lancaster Station deputies responded to the reported collision involving a structure at the location and discovered, upon arrival, a Kern County Transit Bus had impacted a black sedan.

The sedan sustained extensive damage and was found in the intersection, while the transit bus was located in a front yard just inches away from the home on the property.

Firefighters and paramedics from Station 134 responded to the scene, however, no serious injuries were reported that required hospital transport.

The collision is under investigation currently. No further details are available.
