Man Wounded in Apartment Shotgun Shooting

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A man was injured after he was shot in the hand and arm by a suspect with a shotgun who allegedly kicked in his apartment door Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred just before 11:30 p.m., May 30, on the 700 block of South Alvarado Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles police offers responded to the location to investigate, as well as fire department personnel to assess the victim who declined transport to a hospital for medical care.

Suspects were described as three males armed with a shotgun.

The LAPD’s Rampart Division is handling the investigation.
