Robbery Suspect Crash Ends LAPD Hollywood Pursuit

Vermont Vista, Los Angeles: A robbery suspect is in custody after leading police on a chase that started in Hollywood and ended around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 19, in the Vermont Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood Division units were in pursuit of a robby suspect armed with a gun. The chase continued for approximately 25 minutes until the suspect crashed and almost overturned his vehicle at 98th and Figueroa Streets in Vermont Vista.

LAPD then chased the suspect on foot after he fled from the crash, but officers caught up to him and placed him in custody.
