Los Angeles: Around 11:21 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 19, Central Los Angeles California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a multi-vehicle traffic collision just north of North Gower Street on the 101 Freeway.

When CHP arrived, one vehicle was on fire. Los Angeles Fire Department was on the scene and worked to extinguish the burning vehicle.
One individual was transported in unknown condition to local area hospital by LAFD paramedics.
According to CHP officers on the scene, the investigation is ongoing but the traffic collision is believed to be caused by a wrong-way driver.
