Murder Investigation Underway Into Shooting Death of Victim in Sylmar

SYLMAR, LOS ANGELES, June 15 (KNN) — A victim was found deceased by police officers after a reported shooting around 12 a.m. Thursday.

Los Angeles police officers and the Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a shooting on the 15000 block of Foothill Boulevard in the Sylmar neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Police found a victim, not conscious and not breathing.

Per the LAPD information at the scene, eight shots were heard in the area and a car fleeing the location.

The LAPD is investigating the murder.
