Firefighters Douse Flames in Residential Complex

INGLEWOOD, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, June 15 (KNN) — The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a reported residential fire Thursday morning just before 1 a.m. on the 600 block of East Queen Street, Suite #1, in the city of Inglewood.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy smoke and fire showing from a single room on the second floor.

Residents at the complex were able to evacuate the building before firefighters arrived.

Knockdown was achieved in approximately 10 minutes, according to the fire department. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
