Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES, June 18 (KNN) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday night in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a traffic collision around 9:22 p.m. at the intersection of Ratner and Vineland Avenue.

The traffic collision involved a pedestrian who was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the collision.

Los Angeles police officers responded and remained on scene for the duration of the investigation.

It is unknown at this time whether the suspect vehicle remained on scene.
