1 Killed in Palmdale Traffic Collision Involving Semi Trucks

PALMDALE, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, June 20 (KNN) – A driver was killed in a traffic collision involving two semi trucks Tuesday morning.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Palmdale Station deputies and Los Angeles County firefighters responded to the intersection of Pearblossom Highway and 30th Street East around 11 a.m. for a reported traffic collision involving a semi truck with at least one person trapped.

Upon arrival, firefighters worked tirelessly to free the trapped driver who ultimately succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

A second semi involved in the collision was rear-ended. The driver of that semi was treated at the scene and released by paramedics without injury.

Officials on scene declined to release any information as this is an ongoing investigation.
