Man Found Shot in East Los Angeles Roadway

EAST LOS ANGELES, June 25 (KNN) – A man was hospitalized after being shot along Cesar Chavez Avenue Sunday night.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department East L.A. deputies received calls regarding shots fired in the area of North Mednik Avenue and Caesar Chavez Avenue shortly before 10 p.m.

Arriving deputies located at least one male victim down in eastbound lanes of Cesar Chavez Avenue. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a nearby trauma center in unknown condition.

Deputies cordoned off the entire street and combed the area for evidence. A male and female suspect who are believed to be the shooters fled northbound from the location on foot.

There are no further details at this time.
