BELLFLOWER, CA, June 26 (KNN) – A woman is dead and two men are in sheriff’s custody after a high-speed crash Monday night.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the intersection of Rosecrans and Dunrobin Avenues in Bellflower at 9:40 p.m. regarding a two-vehicle collision with reported multiple injuries.
Deputies arrived to find a black BMW sedan that appeared to have been T-Boned in the intersection by a Tesla.
At least one female in the BMW sedan was trapped and unresponsive. Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived and determined the female deceased at the scene.
Additional reports indicated that a male party ran from the Tesla immediately after the crash. The male was seen later returning to the scene and being placed into handcuffs.
An additional male party was also transported from the Tesla to a local hospital with unknown injuries after neighbors reported that he tried hiding after the crash.
Details are still developing regarding the incident, with a long term closure of the intersection by Lakewood sheriff’s deputies for an unknown amount of time for the investigation.
