Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, June 29 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Division units responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision around 10:17 p.m. Thursday, in the 300 block of West 66th Street in the Florence community of Los Angeles County.

First responders found the pedestrian lying in the street and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Unconfirmed reports state the victim was possibly an elderly female.

A nearby vehicle was observed with hood and windshield damage. Information regarding the driver was not immediately available.

There is currently no further information.
