Firefighters Attack 1/4-Acre Brush Fire

SANTA CLARITA, CA, July 3 (KNN) — Los Angeles County firefighters battled a 1/4-acre brush fire behind the True Value hardware store in Newhall Monday evening.

The fire broke out shortly after 7:30 p.m. on the 23700 block of Lyons Avenue.

Crews on the ground and in the air worked to contain and knock down flames.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
