Investigation Underway Into Violent Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision

ORANGE, CA, July 8 (KNN) — At least one person was killed in a violent multi-vehicle traffic collision Saturday night in the city of Orange.

Orange police officers and fire department paramedics responded to the intersection of Katella Avenue and North Shaffer Street shortly before 8:30 p.m. regarding a collision involving multiple vehicles at the location.

Upon arrival, they found at least one sedan, one pickup truck and one SUV with major damage. The SUV flew into a parking lot located on the south side of the street. One victim from the SUV perished in the collision.

Limited information was available at the time of this report as this incident continues to develop.

Katella was closed in all directions between Cambridge Street and Shaffer Streets until further notice.
