Driver Crashes Through Church, 2 Injured

POMONA, CA, July 14 (KNN) — Two people were injured in a solo vehicle crash through a church early Friday morning.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department along with Pomona police officers responded to a traffic collision with a vehicle into a building shortly after 2:30 a.m. on the 500 block of North Main Street in Pomona.

Once officers and firefighters arrived on scene, they located a vehicle that went through a church and came out the other side.

Two people were transported in unknown conditions to Pomona Valley Hospital.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Officers requested building and safety personnel to respond to the location.

It is not known at this time if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
