Driver Flees From Fiery Solo Vehicle Crash in South Los Angeles

UNIVERSITY PARK, LOS ANGELES, July 16 (KNN) — Firefighters doused the flames of a burning vehicle abandoned by the driver after crashing into the front yard of a residence early Sunday morning.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Division units responded to a single-vehicle crash at approximately 2:13 a.m. at the southeast corner of Adams Boulevard and Hoover Street in the University Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

When first responders arrived on scene, they located a white sedan with the engine on fire. The fire was knocked down in just a few minutes by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The driver of the sedan fled the scene.
