Baby Brought to Fire Station Airlifted to Trauma Center

SANTA CLARITA, CA, July 15 (KNN) — A baby was rushed to a pediatric trauma center after being carried to a Santa Clarita fire station by its mother Saturday night.

The incident unfolded on the 18200 block of Soledad Canyon Road at Los Angeles County Fire Station 107.

The mother brought the baby to the station and the station captain called into his dispatcher a “still alarm” and requested a helicopter to medivac the child to a hospital.

Copter 19 responded from Barton Heliport in Pacoima and landed at Canyon Country Park.

The air squad’s crew chief carried the child to the helicopter.

The team flew to a specialty pediatric trauma center a few moments later.
