BAKERSFIELD, CA, July 18 (KNN) — Two people were found injured in the roadway after a traffic collision late Tuesday night in Bakersfield.
The incident was initially reported as two motorcycle riders down in the roadway shortly before 11 p.m. on North Chester bridge and West Columbus Street.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rendered aid to both victims who were then transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
It is currently unclear if one of the victims was possibly a pedestrian struck by the motorcyclist or a passenger on the motorcycle. Key News Network has reached out to Bakersfield PD for more information regarding the incident.
The Bakersfield Police Department and California Highway Patrol were both on scene handling the investigation.
