Gunshot Victim Found on Sidewalk in Granada Hills

GRANADA HILLS, LOS ANGELES, July 21 (KNN) — A victim of a shooting was found down on a sidewalk overnight in the Granada Hills neighborhood.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department and Los Angeles police officers responded to the intersection of San Fernando Mission and Hayvenhurst Avenue for reports of a shooting shortly after 12 a.m. Friday.

One victim was found lying on the sidewalk as officers arrived at the scene.

LAFD firefighter/paramedics transported the 33-year-old male victim by ambulance to a local hospital in stable condition, according to LAPD Officer Drake Madison.

LAPD officers cordoned off the area of the crime scene during the investigation.

The suspect is unknown at this time, according to the LAPD.
