Police Respond to 6th Street Bridge Takeover, 2 Subjects in Custody

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, July 22 (KNN) – A street takeover on the 6th Street Bridge Saturday night prompted a response from the Los Angeles Police Department.

LAPD Hollenbeck units requested backup for a street takeover on the 6th Street Viaduct at approximately 10:15 p.m.

A large group of motorcyclists and bicyclists were engaging in reckless stunts which shut down traffic in both directions.

At least two subjects were taken into custody by police.

There are no further details at this time.
