Upon arrival, Los Angeles County firefighters from Fire Station 73 found blood on the platform and a man in a blood-soaked dress.

The man, who appeared conscious, began shouting expletives (in Spanish) and behaving very erratically.

Sheriff’s deputies arrived to the platform a short time later and worked to get the man to calm down.

The man began to walk hurriedly down the platform which caused a crowd of people to run south away from him.

He was eventually coaxed onto a gurney and rushed to a trauma center. His face appeared bloody as well.

It was unclear why the man was covered in blood and if it was, in fact, his blood.

Deputies are investigating the matter.
