Driver Injured After Rollover Crash Involves Tree, Parked Car

LYNWOOD, CA, July 28 (KNN) — One person injured in a traffic collision involving a tree and parked vehicle was transported to a hospital late Friday night.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were notified of a traffic collision shortly after 10:30 p.m. involving an overturned vehicle catching fire and a patient possibly trapped at Los Flores and Atlantic Avenue in Lynwood.

Once units arrived at the scene, one patient was discovered and immediately prepared for transport to a nearby hospital by paramedics due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Firefighters reported upon arrival, that there was no vehicle found on fire and the patient was located outside the crashed vehicle.

The vehicle had impacted a tree, flipped over and then crashed into a parked vehicle.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this time as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
