3 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash Into 7-Eleven Storefront

VERMONT VISTA, LOS ANGELES, July 29 (KNN) — Multiple vehicles collided into a convenience store late Saturday night leaving three people injured in the Vermont Vista neighborhood within South Los Angeles.

At approximately 10:13 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department along with Los Angeles police officers responded to a reported traffic collision requiring extrication on the 400 block of West Century Boulevard at the intersection of South Figueroa Street.

Upon arriving on scene, first responders found multiple vehicles that had collided into a 7-Eleven convenience store. The LAFD reported there were three patients that required treatment – one was in critical condition and two were in minor condition.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety was dispatched to the scene to evaluate the structural integrity of the building.

The cause of the traffic collision is unknown at this time and under investigation.
