1 Killed in Multiple Injury 2-Vehicle Crash in Lancaster

LANCASTER, CA, July 29 (KNN) — A two-vehicle traffic collision late Saturday night left one person dead and multiple others injured in various conditions.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call at approximately 11:15 p.m. regarding a traffic collision at the intersection of Avenue L and 20th Street East in the city of Lancaster.

Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered two vehicles had collided leaving surviving patients with numerous injuries.

Los Angeles County firefighter/paramedics responded to the scene to treat the injured occupants; one person was pronounced deceased at the scene, three patients suffered critical injuries and one with minor injuries.

All injured parties were transported to a local hospital.

Circumstances surrounding the collision are still under investigation. No further details are available at this time.
