The incident unfolded at a Chevron fuel station near the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road in the city of Santa Clarita shortly before 11:45 p.m. Wednesday night, where sheriff’s deputies located a 2000 Honda Accord reported stolen.

Deputies conducted a felony traffic stop and held the vehicle at gunpoint at a fuel pump.

Nearly a dozen units responded to the scene. Audible commands were given over loudspeaker for both occupants to exit the vehicle.

A woman stepped out first and followed commands until she was taken into custody.

A man stepped out next and became uncooperative. He kept trying to hold his shorts up against commands given by deputies.

He eventually lost his shorts, but was taken into custody a short time later.

Heroin and other drug paraphernalia were found inside the vehicle.

Both occupants were transported to the sheriff’s station lockup.
