Investigation Underway Into Death of Man Discovered at Shopping Mall

VALENCIA, SANTA CLARITA, CA, Aug. 5 (KNN) — Deputies are investigating the death of a man found inside an SUV Saturday afternoon at the Westfield Valencia Town Center shopping mall on the 24000 block of West Valencia Boulevard in the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita.

Shortly before 5 p.m., a 911 caller reported a man inside an SUV that had not moved in at least two days. The caller stated the vehicle was parked at the roof level of the parking garage west of Macy’s.

First responders arrived a short time later, examined the man and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Deputies are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
