KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 6 (KNN) — Firefighters quickly doused the flames in a second story room of a building and treated a female for smoke inhalation while at the same location a water main broke and flooded the street.

At approximately 3:17 a.m. Sunday, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported explosion on the 400 block of South St. Andrews Place in the Koreatown neighborhood within Central los Angeles.
When engines arrived on scene, firefighters located fire coming from a second story window of a building.
The fire was knocked down in just a few minutes. A female at the scene was treated for smoke inhalation but was not transported to a hospital.
A large water main break occurred at the same location and flooded the street while fire department crews were still on scene for the fire incident.
