Man Wounded in Pomona Stabbing

Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: Pomona Police Department received a call of a stabbing at 9:51 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 29, in the 2500 block of Yorkshire Way in the city of Pomona.

Pomona Police officers arrived at the scene and found a man with stab wounds.

The male adult victim suffered lacerations to the arm and was transported in stable condition by CARE ambulance with Los Angeles County Fire Department to a local area hospital, according to Lt. Catnese with the Pomona Police Department.

The suspect was also a male adult and according to Catnese, the two males knew each other.

A man was seen in custody sitting on the ground at the side of the home at the location in Key News Network video from the scene.

What triggered the stabbing is not known at this time. There are no further details.
