1 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway in Fontana

FONTANA, CA, Aug. 8 (KNN) — One person has lost their life in a multi-vehicle crash on the 10 Freeway early Tuesday morning.

California Highway Patrol officers from the Rancho Cucamonga office and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a multi-vehicle traffic collision shortly after 3 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway at Sierra Avenue in the city of Fontana.

Multiple victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown conditions. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene by firefighters and paramedics.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time.

A Sig Alert has been issued for the westbound 10 Freeway in the Fontana area for an unknown amount of time.
