Adults, Children Injured in Violent Head-On Traffic Collision

VALINDA, CA, July 26 (KNN) — Multiple people were injured, including children, in a violent head-on traffic collision in the city of Valinda Wednesday night.

Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a head-on traffic collision around 9:40 p.m. involving children trapped inside a vehicle at North Valinda Avenue and East Doublegrove Street.

Arriving firefighters and paramedics immediately tended to the victims and prepared to transport a total of three children and multiple adults to local hospitals in unknown conditions.

The vehicles were observed with serious impact damage, along with debris from the crash seen scattered in the roadway.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation to determine the factor(s) involved such a speed and/or alcohol.

Both north and southbound lanes of Valinda Avenue were closed shortly after the incident for an unknown duration.
