INDUSTRY, Calif., Aug. 6 (KNN) — An armed suspect entered a 7-Eleven convenience store in the City of Industry overnight and fled with cash from the register.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Industry Station deputies responded to an armed robbery around 1:20 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 16100 block of East Gale Avenue.
Information from the scene per the sheriff’s department reported that one male wearing all black clothing armed with a black handgun with a flashlight attached, demanded cash and took off with $500 from the register.
The suspect ran northbound on South Stimson Avenue from East Gale Avenue and jumped into a waiting vehicle.
The employee at the 7-Eleven was not injured during the armed robbery. It is not known at this time if there were any customers inside when the armed robbery occurred.
