LANCASTER, Calif., Jan. 27 (KNN) — Firefighters battled flames in a Lancaster home Saturday morning prompting a request for arson investigators to respond to the scene,
At approximately 10:24 a.m., firefighters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 44200 block of Gillingham Avenue near East Avenue J3 for reports of a structure fire.
Upon arrival, they discovered a single-family structure with fire and heavy smoke showing. Firefighters started offensive operations and knocked down the fire shortly after arrival.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown, but arson investigators were requested to the scene.
