Arson Suspected in Torching of Multiple Los Angeles County Vehicles

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, June 14 (KNN) — Arson is suspected in the burning of multiple Los Angeles County vehicles parked in a predominantly empty floor of a parking structure overnight.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department was dispatched to a call of a structure fire just after 1 a.m. on the 200 block of Spring Street in the downtown area of Los Angeles.

When units arrived at the location, they found a parking structure with multiple vehicles ablaze. Five vehicles were set on fire.

The Los Angeles County decal was evident on all the desrtroyed and damaged vehicles. The type of service the L.A. County vehicles rendered is unknown at this time.

LAFD Arson arrived at the scene along with the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate the attack on the county vehicles.
